Dave Eggar is an internationally acclaimed cellist, pianist, composer, and producer whose career bridges classical, contemporary, and popular music. A child prodigy, he debuted at Carnegie Hall at age 15 and trained at Juilliard and Harvard University. He has performed as a soloist with major orchestras worldwide, including the New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Sydney Symphony, and at venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, and the Barbican Centre.

 

Eggar’s cello can be heard on Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida”, Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange, and Esperanza Spalding’s Grammy-winning Chamber Music Society. He has collaborated with an extraordinary range of artists including Amy Lee (Evanescence), Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Andrea Bocelli, Tony Bennett, Paul Simon, and Josh Groban. He toured globally with Evanescence on the Synthesis tour and is a founding member of the FLUX String Quartet.

 

A Grammy-nominated artist and award-winning producer, Eggar is also active in film, dance, and contemporary music, and is a core member of the American Modern Ensemble in New York City.

David Shenton is an English-born pianist, violinist, composer, producer, arranger, conductor, and music director based in New York City. A graduate of the Royal College of Music in London with the institution's highest honors, he has collaborated with many of the world's leading artists, including Tony Bennett, Vanessa Williams, Renée Fleming, Michael Feinstein, Sir André Previn, Alan Menken, Stephen Schwartz, and numerous Broadway stars.

David made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2014, conducting from the piano his own orchestra and big band before a sold-out audience. He has also performed at Jazz at Lincoln Center and Lincoln Center as both a jazz and classical pianist.

As an arranger and orchestrator, David has worked at Abbey Road and CTS Studios in London, contributed to Hollywood films, Broadway and West End productions, and collaborated closely with legendary lyricist Martin Charnin.

A prolific composer, David has written hundreds of works spanning orchestral, chamber, stage, and solo repertoire. His debut piano album was released on the Steinway & Sons label, and his orchestrations have been performed by major symphony orchestras and internationally acclaimed artists.
